HOA News
A Quiet Place in the Country was a major contributing factor to the defeat of the re-zoning of the Taylor Road and 415 intersection for further commercialization.
Notice to residence concerning Volusia County Mosquito treatment:
The county prefers to provide a habitat survey and individual treatment versus the use of a spraying truck. The individual treatment provides killing for up to six months, the truck spray provides treatment for a day or two. Call 386-424-2920 or 386-239-6516 for your inspection and treatment
Residents that make a major difference in our neighborhood
Lenny and Pat Ohlsson have been residents of Quiet Place for many years. The Ohlsson's who own Spruce Creek Fly in Realty have for several years proved our community with no expense printing and mailing service for all HOA mailings. This service is very much appreciated for the professional looking documents and very timely delivery. We have over 170 mailing with each notice, saving the HOA both time and expense.
Bus
Stop
We have permanent bike storage and secure racks for neighborhood bus riders, please drive carefully around our bus stop.
Watch Your Speed
We have received complaints about speeding throughout our community. Sometimes the mornings can be very foggy. Our children are walking to their bus stops and many people walk and ride bikes through here. Let's take care of our kids and each other so please, slow down and share the road.
